Ryan Spence

Ryan Spence co-owns Field Good Farms in Cache Bay, Ontario.  He and Isabelle run a small-scale fruit and vegetable farm that focuses on ecology, bio-diversity, community, and regenerating the land they tend.  2020 marked ten years of ecological farming for Ryan and Isabelle.

No-till has wowed us!  The results are spectacular.  In 2020 we successfully switched many of our annuals to no-till including greens, brassicas, nightshades, and legumes.  In the coming years we will add more perennials and continue to transition other annuals to no-till.
