Melisa Luymes Melisa is an agri-environmental research, sociology and communications consultant, and co-founder of the Ontario Soil Network. After university and travelling to Vandana Shiva’s farm in India, she came back to her family’s ‘conventional’ farm in Drayton, ON with a lot of new ideas…and created a lot of tension! Since then, in working with her family and with hundreds of Ontario farmers, she has been learning a better way to connect (… thank goodness)!
