John Bonaparte John Bonaparte is a Mohawk of Akwesasne, has been farming his whole life but specifically vegetables the last 4 years. He helped begin the Akwesasne Farmers Market in 2019 and was recently elected for the leadership council of the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance (NAFSA). He works for a local beef farmer and SEEDSHED, and is currently starting his own educational eco farm, Bare Bones Farms to grow the next generation of Mohawk Farmers and change his local agricultural landscape.
